DMW Records CEO, Davido Adeleke has lambasted the Ugandan police for keeping two Nigerian singers,
Omah Lay and Tems in their custody.
Omah Lay and Tems had been arrested on the 13th of December in Uganda for violating the country’s COVID-19 safety measures and has since been in the custody of the Ugandan police.
In reaction to their prosecution, Davido took to social media to call out the country’s police force. According to the FEM crooner, these artistes were just looking for a means to put food on their table.
“Omo this Ugandan P, how can we help? What can we do? Artists just tryna eat! They didn’t bargain for this @PoliceUg !!!!! BIG CAP!!,” O.B.O wrote.
