Youth reps pull out of Lagos Judicial Panel after CBN's record freeze

The youth delegates at the Lagos Judicial Panel would not sit during Saturday's meeting due to some reasons.

The Judicial Panel of Inquiry was set up by the Lagos State Government, to test the Lekki cost entryway shootings and a few complaints of denials of basic freedoms against individuals from the disbanded Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS). 

Be that as it may, after Central Bank acquired a court request to freeze the financial balances of Adegoke Pamilerin and Bolatito Oduala, prevalently known as Rinu close by 17 others connected to the EndSARS fights, the young reps boycotted the present sitting. 

Anakle CEO, Editi Effiong, who was available at the setting tweeted the updates. 

“The panel will have to adjourn, while that is resolved.

“Note: I saw Rinu earlier, wearing and #EndSARS shirt. A very bold move.”

Editi at that point added that "The different legitimate groups speaking to LASG, Army, #EndSARS and others are reacting to the blacklist. 

“Mr. O speaking: We are embarrassed for Nigeria, that the government invited youth to the panel, and on another hand, punishing them.”

The board will presently reconvene on November 14 while the bank freeze is figured out.
