The Nigerian armed force has agreed to the carrying live bullets to Lekki tollgate where a questionable shooting occurred on October 20, 2020.
Ibrahim Taiwo, officer of the 81 division of the Nigerian Army affirmed this while being questioned by Olumide Fusika, a senior advocate of Nigeria (SAN) before the Lagos legal board on Saturday November 21.
Taiwo who said the live shots was for the assurance of the military group that was sent to reestablish request in the zone, asserted that the troopers who started shooting utilized clear slugs. He additionally revealed that their partners with live bullets were on ground to shield from suspected hoodlums who incited trobule.
