Reports have revealed that a young lady has reportedly been gang raped for the second time in three years by the same group of men.
The 21-year-old woman is said to have been gang raped for the second time as revenge for her refusal to withdraw the first rape case filed against them.
The young lady who is reported to be the daughter of a poor charpoy-maker, was first assaulted by the group of five who are former students in the same college as their victim, in 2013 in Bhiwani, but following threats from the culprits, the family had been forced to move to Rohtak.
Times of India reports that the accused who reportedly face life sentences if convicted of the first rape case, is alleged to have offered the woman's family, five million rupees (£56,500), to drop the initial rape case.
On July 13, 2016, the group of five who are all in their 20's, reportedly abducted the victim from somewhere close to her college, and drove to a nearby location where they gang raped her again, leaving her to die in the bushes.
A passerby found her unconscious with her clothes torn before rushing her to a nearby hospital
