The Commissioner of police for Lagos state, Fatai Owoseni has today confirmed the rescue of the three kidnapped female students of Babington Macauley Junior Seminary, Ikorodu.
Confirming their freedom, Lagos state Police Commissioner, Fatai Owoseni
said the girls were rescued around Igbokuta area of Ikorodu.
The police also paraded some of the suspected kidnappers while stating that no ransom was paid for the girls.

One of the kidnap suspects, Emmanuel
Arigidi, said the group did not molest or abuse the girls, adding that
they approached the school and escaped via canoes at the edge of Adama
creeks on the fateful day of the the ugly incident.
