took place on the 20th and a lot of things went down. In fact it
would go down as one if not the most eventful amnd controversial Miss Universe
pageant ever.
First the host, American comedian
Steve Harvey announced the wrong person (Miss Colombia) as the winner before
coming 2mins later (after the poor girl had had the crown on her head and
started feeling like a queen) to announce that he made an error and the other
girl (Miss Philippines) is actually the real winner.
This palaver is not even the
reason I’m writing about the pageant sef if not for the “traditional” attire
our rep, Miss Nigeria, wore during the contest…
