Chen Wang Emmanuel is perhaps the
only Chinese-Nigerian half-cast in town. His father is Chinese and his mother
is Nigerian. He is also a graduate of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
Chen Wang recently wrote about
his love for his Nigerian heritage and shared family photos. Here’s what he
wrote:
"I’m half Chinese & half Nigerian. Dad is the
Chinese, mom is Igbo. I think there are very few of us in the world maybe less
than 20. I think Nigerian blood made I & my siblings way finer &
different from the normal Chinese. We are way taller than the average short
Chinese race. We look quite more appealing (I think) Better hair…I think mom’s
blood is strong. We don’t have the “sleepy eye” thing & some other private
things…LOL”
