If you are a young single person in Nigeria and you are feeling the pressure of these "go and marry", "when will you marry?", "All your mates are all married", "You'll die single" or "You will never be fulfilled if you don't get married'' statements, then brighten up, you are not alone.
As it is, it is not just in Nigeria that we have "Marriage Prefects'' (that is people who would not mind their business but would be putting unnecessary pressure on singles to get married
for their own selfish/aproko interest; even if the single person would be better off not marrying). They are also in other countries, most especially, India.
A group of young Indians who were tired of the obsession with marriage by their parents, elders and neighbours decided to come together to place ridiculous reasons why they are forced to get married by these people.
Check out the reasons and I'm sure you'd find a lot of similarities with Nigeria there too...
