The famous Harry Potter film franchise,
based on the book by J.K. Rowlings, is having a stage spin-off that is set 19
years after the last film. The lead female character, Hermoine Granger, would be
played by a black actress, Noma Dumezweni, who is from Swaziland.
The spin-off, "Harry Potter and
the Cursed Child" is based on an original story co-written by J.K. Rowling.

Immediately the casting was
announced, some Harry Potter faithfuls took to social media to protest the
casting of a black woman as the lead actress, Hermione but, J.K. Rowlings gave a
sublime reply to the racists when she tweeted:
