an unreal twist of events, the mother of the Abdeslam brothers, who were
prominent in the planning and execution of the Paris attacks, have come out to
state that her son, Ibrahim Abdeslam who blew himself up outside the Cafe Comptoir Voltaire, did so out of "stress" and that he "did not mean to hurt anyone".
Ibrahim Abdeslam, 31, is one of three brothers who were heavily involved in unleashing terror on Paris on Friday night with co-ordinated shooting and suicide bombing that claimed
the lives of at least 129 people and left hundreds injured. His brother, Mohammed Abdeslam was arrested in Western Brussels, days after the horrific killings, while his third brother and alleged mastermind of the operation, Salah Abdeslam, is still at large. He has been declared Most wanted person by the French government, and is now the subject of a vast international manhunt.
Their mum, speaking to the local news outlet, Het Laatste Nieuws, outside the family home in Molenbeek, Belgium, said she was "surprised" three of her sons were involved . Speaking about Ibrahim, she told the interviewers that:
"This was not his plan, that's for sure. The fact that his suicide belt exploded without killing anyone says a lot. We even saw him two days before the attacks. There were no signs that they had plans to do anything violent."
(Duh, of course they would show no signs, they are radicalised terrorists! Would someone who is planning a mass murder say, "Oh, by the way mum, I'll be killing many innocent people on Friday...just so you know...so, see ya. Be good, good night"...!)
Admitting that Ibrahim had spent "a long time" in Syria, the family said,
"We were really surprised that Salah was involved. Ibrahim was different. We did see that he had been radicalised, at least in part. But not so much that we ever thought he would commit an atrocity like this."
According to MailOnline, another family member added, "Maybe the explosives went off prematurely by accident. Maybe it was stress."
I don't understand these people oh! Are they smoking something or they just decided to genuinely live in denial? Like, why would you have explosives strapped to yourself and you don't expect to detonate it? Do the Abdeslams really want us to buy this hogwash??

RIP to the victims. And I hope for their sakes that Salah Abdeslam is caught and prosecuted. Or pay for this heinous crime one way or the another...
