The wait is finally over. The most anticipated album list in
Nigeria has finally dropped been released. I’m talking about no other than the
much awaited LP Miniserial list from Mo’Buhari
President Muhammadu Buhari .
The Senate President, Bukola Saraki confirmed the receipt of
the Ministerial list at about 5pm on Wednesday (30th of september) via his official twitter account.
The Senate’s plenary
session had however closed by the time the list was
delivered by the chief of staff to President Buhari, Mr Babachir Lawal, who
also doubles as the President’s special advisor on national assembly (Senate).
It was reported that
President Buhari had to send the list to Nigeria through one of his aides while
he was still attending the just concluded 70th UN general assembly which took
place in New York, USA; in order to meet the September deadline date he
promised Nigerians. The President himself, returned to the country much
later in the day, in time for today’s Independence day celebrations.
At a Press briefing after the Senate President’s
confirmation of receipt of the list, the senate spokesperson, Senator Dino Melaye said the content of the list can not be disclosed until the senate
reconvene on Friday, 2nd of October. He said it is only then that everyone would know who and
who is on the list. He assured Nigerians that the nominees would be meticulously screened by the law-makers.
For now, the wait continues for the ministerial track list nominees' names.
