Manchester United Manager, Louis Van Gaal is the happiest man on earth. His
philosophical style of coaching seems to be paying off. Everything seem to be
finally in place at Old Trafford: The team has gelled, ‘over-priced’ Anthony
Martial already has three goals in four games, Memphis Depay also has a goal
now and Wayne Rooney has ended his seven week goal drought. What’s more? Manchester United, for the first
time in two years, is top of the EPL table with 16 points from 7 games. What
could possibly go wrong? Manchester is
definitely RED. And in the words of LVG,
“Yes, we are definitely contending for the title”.
Manchester United played under-performing Sunderland (who
are bottom of the table) on Saturday and it was a comprehensive three goals
scored, three points gained and no goal conceded for the Red Devils. Juan Mata had an outstanding performance in the game
that saw Depay, Juan Mata and Rooney scoring the
goals. This made Man United the only team to keep a clean sheet in all the
matches played on Saturday.

Manchester United cannot afford to revel in their string of
successes as they’ve got rejuvenated Arsenal visiting next weekend. But for now,
LVG and his lads have their mid-week champions league match in focus.
