After being off and on the pitch due to multiple injury, ace Liverpool striker, Daniel Sturridge is now back in full training
and may feature in this weekend’s super Saturday trip to Manchester United.
The 26 year old England International has been plagued with
long term injury which began after the 2013/2014 season when his stellar
forward line partnership with Suarez and Sterling led to Liverpool narrowly
missing out on the EPL title. He scored 24 goals from 33 appearances in that
season.
In the 2014/2015 season, Sturridge could only manage to play
18 times and score just 5 goals before he was sidelined for five months with a
thigh injury and a calf strain.
He last played for Liverpool in April, after which he had a
hip operation in May and has been recuperating in the United States ever since.
His return is surely a welcome development for coach,
Brendan Rodgers, as he would have a trusted option for his striking position.
Good looking out Liverpool fans!
