Less than 48hours after Kanye West released his new album, The Life of Pablo (T.L.O.P), major entertainment outfits have already published their reviews of the album and Yeezy isn't happy with them - at least with some - particularly Pitchfork, Rolling Stone and The New York Times which he categorised as "White Publications".
Kanye took to Twitter (as usual) to politely warn these "white publications" to stop "commenting on black music" because they, white people "don't understand what it means
to be the great grandson of ex-slaves and make it this far." He also said a whole lot of things before telling them to "shut the f*ck up and enjoy the greatness"
The irony of the matter is that both the Pitchfork and NYT reviews had largely positive reviews of the album with Pitchfork giving it a 9 out of 10; while Rolling Stones had a mix of praise and criticism for the album. So, I don't know what Mr. West is driving at...
And oh, he also used the opportunity to inform us that his album which was released on Jay Z-owned Tidal would never be available on Apple Music and it will never be on sale either.
