Arsenal has finally made a signing
this transfer season. Twenty-three-year-old Mohamed Elneny, an Egypt international, who until now was playing for Basel has now become Arsene Wenger’s first outfield signing
since January 2015.
Elneny who missed training on
Monday when he was holding talks with Arsenal has now joined the Premier league
leaders in a deal reportedly worth £5 million.
A statement from the club read, “The
transfer is subject to the completion of regulatory
processes. Everyone at
Arsenal would like to welcome Mohamed to the club.”
