The Governor of Gombe State, Alhaji Inuwa Yahaya, has presented a vehicle and the amount of N2m to a 50-year-elderly person, Dahiru Buba.
This was a day after Newsmen distributed a report of Buba describing how individuals made jest at him for journeying from Gombe to Abuja to praise the winner of the 2015 official political decision won by the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd).
Buba is right now going through treatment over a sickness he got after the activity.
The Senior Special Assistant to the Gombe State Governor on Media, Ismaila Misilli, affirmed the improvement to reporters.
He stated,
"This is as a result of good journalism; giving voice to the voiceless. Your medium granted an interview to the man who trekked from Gombe to Abuja in celebration of President Muhammadu Buhari’s victory in 2015. He has been presented a Space wagon car by the governor. The man is a driver by training and was given the sum of N2m."
Buba, who had prior mentioned for a provision of work and source of income, said he was shocked by the offer of the Governor, adding that the blessings would be very much utilized.
