Vera Uwaila Omozuwa, the 22-year-old undergraduate who was raped and killed in Redeemed Christian Church of God in Benin,
Edo state sometimes this year, is to be let go today, November 13.
The passing of Vera, a 100 level microbiology understudy of Uniben, provoked Nigerians and restored calls for stiffer punishment for attackers.
She had gone to Church to read during the Covid-19 lockdown when she was assaulted in chapel. She passed on days after the fact in a medical clinic.
Back in August, six suspects were captured corresponding to Vera's demise.

The suspect, Collins Uligbe, who hails from Agbor in Ika North East Local Government Area of Delta State, admitted while being marched close by different suspects by the Edo State Police Command.

Portraying the occurrence, Collins said despite the fact that they were six that did the wrongdoing, he was outside giving them signals before he went along with them inside the church auditorium.
Collins said Nelson hit her with a board and when she attempted to stand up he hit her with the fire quencher in the church.
The suspects were gotten through a man who purchased the victim's telephone for N17,000.
Nonetheless, Mary Ade, denied the charge, saying she neither gave him the cash nor requested that he wipe the woman's private part.
