Nigerian disc jockey, DJ Switch, is safe and out of Nigeria.

Earlier today, news made round that she has sought out asylum in Canada.
It was further stated that she narrated her ordeal at the Sub-committee on International Human Rights of the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development of the Canadian parliament.
In a telephone conversation with The Punch, Peter Okoye’s personal assistant, Charles Abi, confirmed that the disc jockey was safe and had travelled out of Nigeria.
Abi, however, did not disclose where DJ Switch is residing.
He said, “We do not want to say anything at the moment and that is the truth. This is a matter of threat and we do not want to say anything at the moment. She had been getting a lot of threats and the truth is that she is not even in Nigeria at the moment and she is safe. We will not want to answer whether she is in Canada for now but she is not in the country and she is safe.”
