The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has consented to cancel its strike which has gone on for a very long time.
The association initiative arrived at the agreement during a gathering with the public authority group drove by the Minister of Labor and Employment, Dr Chris Ngige, on Friday, Nov 27, in Abuja.
The FG likewise promised to increase the total payment to the union to N70 billion.
This comes multi week after the FG acknowledged the interest by the ASUU that they be excluded from the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System.
