The Nigerian police via its official Twitter handle, @PoliceNG, has said that they are not a collection of angels.
Recall that a wave of protests erupted across Nigeria against the now officially disbanded SARS police unit, and more generally against police brutality.
At several protests, police units have responded with force, and groups of young men wielding knives and sticks have attacked demonstrators.
Nigerian police have now reacted to happenings in the country saying they are not angels but are trying to serve people better.
“We are not a collection of angels, but we are doing our best to serve you better” the post read.
