Super Eagles’ manager, Gernot Rohr, has opened up in a new interview on why he might not consider marrying a Nigerian woman.
Just like former Nigerian manager, Clemens Westerhof got hooked to a Zimbabwean lady during his sojourn in Africa, Rohr, when asked in an interview with the Sun if he would consider marrying a Nigerian lady, said it would be difficult.

He cited cultural background and language difference as main reasons he won’t marry a Nigerian.
Rohr, a Franco-German replaced former Nigerian international, Sunday Oliseh as Super Eagles coach.

Asked if he would likely take a second wife in Nigeria just as Clemens Westerhof did in Africa, he said:
“My president (Amaju Pinnick) joked about it recently. He said he was going to hand me a Nigerian woman and we all laughed about it.“To be sincere, Nigerian ladies are very beautiful and tempting but it is going to be very difficult to marry one. Language and cultural background will be a serious barrier.”
Gernot Rohr who seems to be so much confident in the present Super Eagle' squad has stated that there will be rains of goals from his players at the Russia 2018 World Cup starting in June.
Rohr, who is being expected to release his provisional squad for the tournament any time soon, said he has no worries about his strikers.
“When you see what happened last weekend, Odion Ighalo scored four goals, Ahmed Musa scored two, Victor Moses scored one and had an assist, Kelechi Iheanacho played very well at Leicester, but didn’t score. Alex Iwobi played also.
So, I’m not pessimistic about this department. We have Mikel Obi, who can give good balls and also score. “I think we will be able to score some goals at the World Cup.”
Nigeria scored 11 goals in total during the third round of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers, with Victor Moses the leading marksman with three goals.
