China has banned pop star Justin Bieber from performing due to his “bad behaviour” on and off the stage.
The Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture said the action was necessary to “purify” the country’s entertainment industry but suggested it was not permanent.

We understand that there are records of his bad behaviour,whether it is in his private life abroad or on stage.The statement was issued in response to a question recently submitted by a user of the bureau's website asking why he is not allowed to perform in China as part of his Asia tour in September.
