Photos have emerged on social media showing the shocking moment
some Fulani Herdsmen and their cattle on Monday, took over a major road
in Abuja Central Business District at the federal capital territory in
the nation's capital.
Multiple online reports revealed that some motorists were forced to
stop their vehicles to pave way for the bulls and cows strolling freely
on the express way.
The photos drew anger from many Nigerians on social media, as one commenter wrote;
"Where Are The Law Enforcement Agents? Where Are The FRSC Officials? If
It Is To Chase A Driver And Passengers Into A Ditch Now, they'll Become
Active."
Another wrote; "This is central area Abuja oooo. I can see
ministry of finance. What kind of thing is this na. I am tired.
Foreigners will be looking at us all like animals. I am just tired."
Another online user wrote; "To even
think this is comfortably happening in this century and in a nations
capital is enough to make developed nations look at us as animals.
"Why can't the govt put an end to this nomadic life style, especially since it is affecting other Nigerians?"
