Anambra governor, Willie Obiano who is currently gearing up for the
forthcoming gubernatorial election has lost his mother to the
regrettable cold hands of death.
"We regret to announce the passing on of the mother of Anambra
State Governor Willie Obiano "Akpokuedike". She passed on yesterday, 2
June 2017 at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Teaching Hospital [NAUTH] Nnewi by 3pm." a family source revealed to a reporter.
Until her death, the governor's mother who was always unconscious
has been in the Intensive Care Unit [ICU] of Nnamdi Azikiwe Teaching
Hospital [NAUTH] Nnewi for months.
The governor visits most times there according to further reports gathered.
The news of her death was released by the NAUTH Community.
As at the time of this news, she was still there in ICU. The
hospital authorities are waiting for the son (governor) to come before
moving her to the mortuary.
"From Team Obiano Our hearts are with the Willingly Working Willie and the first family!
May the Good Lord Grant him the fortitude to bear the loss and we pray God to grant her eternal peace in the beyond." another staunch supporter revealed.
