Ghana has been rated the most expensive country to live in, in Africa according to MoveHub
According to the international relocation company [MoveHub] Ghana is ranked among 20 other nations that are deemed expensive to reside in world over.
“Ghana is one of Africa’s more prosperous nations, and this is reflected in the cost of living, which is higher than any other African nation,” the MoveHub survey said.
Ghana is one of Africa’s more prosperous nations, and this is reflected in the cost of living, which is higher than any other African nation, according to MoveHub. Ghana scored 53.89 points.
MoveHub noted that its rating is based on cost inputs like; the price of groceries, transport, bills, restaurants and rents.
The figures of the survey will then be compiled into an index, using the New York City as a benchmark.
New York was given an index score of 100, and countries were then ranked based on this. So a country with a score higher than 100 is more expensive than New York, while below signals that it is cheaper.
MoveHub is a removals company that uses industry knowledge and experience to help people move abroad and domestically.
