A huge 'RIP Taylor Swift' mural has been painted in a laneway in Melbourne days after the singer's public blow-up with Kim Kardashian and her husband Kanye West.
Although the painting clearly represents the singer, the cursive writing blended her last name together, so it looks like 'Taylor Smith.

The painting features a portrait of the 26-year-old pop star along with the words: 'In loving memory. Taylor Swift, 1989 -2016'.
Alongside the graffiti artwork, the artist also wrote: 'No tags please, respect the dead

The artist, Lushsux, clarified to Daily Mail Australia that the blending of the letters was 'an unintentional mistake'.
Lushsux posted the picture on Instagram on Wednesday morning with the caption: 'The recent passing of @taylorswift is heart wrenching.
'Come and leave some flowers and light some candles at her memorial in Hosier lane in honour of her memory. If you do please DM photos of you doing it. #taylorswift #kimexposedtaylorparty #kimkardashian'
Since being revealed to the public, bystanders have laid bunches of flowers beneath the oversized memorial on Hosier Lane as well as candles.
Social media users were quick to comment on the painting, with one posting: 'Such a tragedy. Condolences go to the swifts and every swifty. rip a snake. #riptaylorswift #taylorswift'.
Lushsux is no stranger to controversy as the street artist was also behind the large mural of Kim Kardashian's naked body in March.
