Ba was eventually stretchered from the pitch after a long period of treatment in which the striker received oxygen.
He moved to the Chinese Super League side from Besiktas in July 2015 for a £12m fee after a successful career in the Premier League.
The former Newcastle frontman is still revered at Chelsea after scoring the infamous Anfield goal which effectively halted Liverpool's Premier League title in 2014.
