This hilarious photograph shows how a family keep tripping over their living room rug because their camouflaged dog is almost impossible to spot while lying on it.
Days after mother-of-five Deb Lythgoe bought home a plush deep-pile rug in slate grey in the front room of the home she shares with her fiancée Pete Chisnall, 37, they realised they had a problem.
Their seven-year-old poodle Stanley happened to have the same colour fur as the rug and the couple found themselves repeatedly tripping up over the pet in Wigan, Greater Manchester.
To make matters worse, Stanley decided that the rug - which was bought in April - was his favourite spot in the house and proceeded to sprawl out there daily.
