It only took about 6 months but Olamide has finally come to apologize for his outburst at the Headies Awards at the beginning of the year. His viral outburst came about after his then artist, Lil Kesh, was beaten to the Next Rated award by Don Jazzy’s protege, Reekado Banks.
The outburst went viral on social media, and so did his epic rant against Don Jazzy on twitter where he suggested Don Jazzy was at fault for a lot of beef in the industry. The phrase “every fucking single was a hit, back to back” became the catch phrase for the earlier part of the year.
In a short clip posted on instagram, Olamide is seen beside CEO of HipTV and head organizer of the Headies Awards, Ayo Animashaun. He apologized for his actions, and how he went about it. Here is what he said...
