Investigators have found two separate properties in L A, California, worth over $1.5 million, belonging to Guy Murray-Bruce.
The brothers are listed as defendants in ongoing legal proceedings with the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON), which only a few days ago seized several companies belonging to the Senator.
AMCON alleges that Senator Murray-Bruce failed to service Union Bank loans he took out for the companies in question between 2005 and 2007.
Its learned that he illegally diverted money from the Union Bank loans to bankroll his appetite for opulent real estate properties in the United States.
its also revealed that Senator Bruce purchased one posh Beverly Hills mansion in 2007. The latest info found is that two additional properties were purchased in 2007 in the name of Guy Murray-Bruce in the Los Angeles County area.
The first, purchased for $1,110,000 on March 20th 2007, is located at 11445 Santini Lane, Northridge CA
91326. The property is said to have five bedrooms, three bathrooms, and be 3,195 square feet. The second, in the name of Guy and Anne Murray-Bruce, is a condominium estimated to have cost $470,700.
It is located at 11453 Ghiberti Way, #87, Northridge CA 91326. Bought by him on September 6th, 2007 the property is described as being a “gorgeous villa in the lovely Tuscany complex” and “located in the prestigious Porter Ranch community.”
It has tiled floors, two master bedrooms each with walk-in closets and personal bathrooms, and a “unique courtyard with open patio plus a covered patio that could double as a carport.”
The Los Angeles County Assessor’s Office confirmed that these properties were in the name of Guy Murray-Bruce and purchased for $1.1 million and $470,700 respectively.
