Popular media personality, Tolu "Toolz" Oniru started a skin treatment programme recently and she has been documenting her progress on her instagram account. The process she is undergoing, according to her, is known as "Hyperpigmentation Correction Programme." But, instagram users are having none of it.
Several times, people have commented under her posts that she should say it as it is - that she's bleaching her face - and stop calling it fancy names.
This has made the OAP justify herself again and again; putting up post after post explaining
that is not bleaching but removal of dead cells from the skin, evening out skin tone, etc.
Just yesterday, she put up this before and after picture of her face and went on to write another justification caption on the Hyperpigmentation programme. She went on to stoke the "you're bleaching'' fire by explaining that the "after" picture appears fairer cos of more sunlight...like seriously babe, wyd? Seriously?!
Her constant explanation is just making her seem desperate. Like, if she's sure that she's not guilty of what she's being accused of, then she owes no one any explanation. Even if she is, it is her face not theirs. She should do whatever makes her happy afterall they are not the ones paying for the programme. Sincerely, I think these celebs are the ones who give trolls the chance to mock them in the first place...
Abi, what can you say about this, Toolz should continue explaining her decision or just keep quiet...?
