I work as an Executive Assistant to the MD at a top organization in Abeokuta, Ogun State. There was this request for fund from a particular unit that was brought into our office on Thursday. The requests were about 5. My boss then asked me to summarize them all on a sheet, so he just signs off and send to the Accountant. This I did and gave to him to sign. 

He checked and was satisfied with how I arranged the requests and even commended me for that.

Now, on Friday, the Manager of that unit that needed the funds came around to retrieve the cash. He went straight to my boss and my boss denied that I had submitted it to him. I was like ............ numb, I tried to explain to him all that transpired between us, because he was kind of raking that I never brought it to his table.

The manager of that unit was trying to signal to me to keep mute and not say anything. I obliged and kept mute.

He later remembered he had sent the request to the Accountant.

Now the question is:

"SHOULD YOU ARGUE A POINT WITH YOUR BOSS, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU ARE CERTAIN THAT YOU ARE RIGHT?
