I hope we are not in  the worst times in the history of this country. Wetin I dey talk self? This is definitely not the best of times for Nigerians, across all strata of life - both the rich and the poor are complaining and I must say, it is getting out of hand.

Now the Mega Mart in the countries all over are going bankrupt and running out of stock massively. A friend in Onitsha called me the other day on how some shelves are scanty within the newly opened SHOPRITE store in that city. I thought he was exaggerating. Now I have experienced same.

I was at Shoprite this afternoon to pick up some groceries, when I was told they didn't have much of what I wanted. This had never happened to me before in my entire life of shopping at the Mega Mall.

This is a time for Nigerians to begin to react to the high cost of items in the market.
