I've always heard of the new type of generator that runs on gas, instead of petrol, but I always thought it's lies or it isn't in Nigeria yet until I got the shock of my life when I recently saw it.
According to reports making the rounds, some elements in government especially the oil sector are trying so hard to blcok the mass importation of these gas-powered generators as they fear it would put them out of business. You know a large network of these high and mighty people monopolise the petrol-powered generators imports.
The fact is that these gas-powered generators would go a long way in helping the masses as it
would lift off pressure from petrol needed to power generators as we have it now. But, you know how Nigeria is, the capitalists and their politician cronies only think of their pockets even if it doesn't favour the masses.
I wonder when our leaders would become unselfish...I'm sha hoping these gas-powered generators would become widespread...solar panel too *fingers crossed*
