Ever since Beyonce shredded the "white girl" image that has been projected on her by the white folks that control the music business and decided to go to her black roots by making political and racially-charged song, especially "Formation", she has gotten into the bad books of some white folks (read: racists) who were only tolerating her before.
After she dropped "Formation" and had that Black Panther-themed performance at the Superbowl Half-time, there has been renewed calls from several quarter (mainly white folks
and police) to boycott her upcoming tour.
The #BoycottBeyonce was created to drive this movement and there was even initial rumours that the police would boycott her concerts too.
Now, Beyonce (or rather her publicity/marketing team) being the bad ass they are, instead of worrying about the opposition, have just turned their lemons into lemonade.
Beyonce's merchandise store has designed T-shirts, phone case, etc to promote the tour and one of the T-shirts they are selling is this Boycott Beyonce T-shirt!
Beyonce and her team are simply telling the haters,
"it's okay if you don't like the new me or support the "Formation" movement, you can still come to the concert and hate on me, we made a shirt just for you too. You're welcome. Come and watch me perform and still pass your #BoycottBeyonce message".
