A long-time fan of Rihanna, who opted not to disclose his name, has revealed how the pop singer helped him come out as gay to his family and friends via DM'ing on Twitter.
The anonymous fan shared the screenshots of his heartfelt conversations via DMs with Rihanna over a period of time as he struggled with revealing his sexuality to his loved ones.
In one of the convos, the fan wrote to the "work" crooner that, "I just wanna live as the person I really am, not as a liar." and Rihanna replied,
"Baby it's okay to be scared but it's more important to be who you are! You are who you are, and as hard as it may seem, the best shit ever is freedom and peace within yourself! Your family may not understand, but luckily you live in a generation that does!..."
