Since he dropped his debut album, No Guts No Glory, Phyno has been on a hot streak. Releasing single after single, and not letting a few months go by without his name being on the pulse on Nigerian music. So you can only expect that the him not dropping an album this year would’ve disappointed a lot of fans. Not just us.
Well fear not my friends, we now know for sure that Phyno will be dropping an album this year, and from what we gather, the album will be titled Playmaker. We also know that the project will feature 2face Idibia aka 2baba, Cynthia Morgan, Timi Dakolo, Olamide, and probably more.
Over the past year and some change, Phyno has dropped some major hits including Nnunu, Ezege, and of course every Igbo person’s favorite palm-wine drinking music, Connect. Plus he’s featured on a lot of hits also. The number of tracks to be on the album is still up in the air, but we know there’ll be quite a number of tracks on the album
