Yesterday,
the much anticipated AFCON 2017 qualifying match between the Super Eagles of
Nigeria and the Pharaohs of Egypt went down in Kaduna.
Although, the result did
not go the way most Nigerians would have wanted, the fan turn-out was so
impressive that security for the 25,000 capacity stadium was overwhelmed and
people had to resort to dangerous ways such as climbing the 40ft flood light tower, the score-sheet billboard and other platforms just to watch the match live. It is estimated that there were at least 40,000
fans.
