Afrobeat maestro and son of late Fela Kuti, Femi Kuti, threw caution and maturity to the winds as he engaged in a war of tweets with a supposed neighbour who had called him out on the microblogging site for porting to the next street's transformer after their own street transformer developed a fault some weeks ago. The neighbour was of the opinion that Femi Kuti should have followed in his activist father's footsteps by going with the other occupant to the electricity company to demand for a new transformer instead of jumping ship and leaving them to fight for their rights on their own.

The afrobeat singer really had the neighbour's time as he gave him nasty responses and even slightly threatened the neighbour to come to his house and confront him in person when he returns home from his trip abroad.
