PDP Secretary in Ekiti state, Tope Aluko, this evening made very strong and direct
allegations regarding the 2014 Governorship election in Ekiti state that
saw Ayo Fayose emerge as governor.
Aluko who was a guest on Channels TV's Politics Today claimed Jonathan disbursed $35M to Fayose towards the election. He alleged that the money was brought by Musiliu Obanikoro and they met at an hotel in Ekiti. He also alleged that 2M was collected at Abuja
from Ifeanyi Ubah at the NNPC Towers. The media adviser to Governor Fayose who was also at the show, debunked the allegations saying Aluko is just bitter because he wanted
to be Chief of Staff to the Governor and he didn't get the position.
Ifeanyi Ubah however called into the heated debate to clear himself and say Tope Aluko is a liar.
