Khloe Kardashian revealed what really happened in her former relationship with James Harden, and it's not flattering for the NBA star.
Plain and simple: she says he cheated on her.While speaking to Lisa Rinna on FYI's "Kocktails with Khloe," the reality star said James wasn't exactly a one-woman man, despite his assurances that he wanted to be exclusive with her.
"I just don't want to put up with people that you want to be monogamous, but you're not monogamous," she told Lisa after being asked why the relationship deteriorated.
"I've always said it's long distance, this or that, I've always said we don't need to be monogamous," she added, saying that he knew the distance could be difficult, considering she lives in Los Angeles and he lives in Houston, Texas.
"Let's see each other when we see each other," he said she told him, basically letting him have his cake and eat it, too.
"Why wouldn't you say, 'OK that's great?" she asked, saying that James was "forcing the relationship," promising to be committed to her and only her.
"He wanted that," Khloe said. "I wanted it, but I wanted to be realistic."
Khloe felt that it would be "unfair" to be in a monogamous relationship given their schedules and their distance.
"He sought me out, he wanted to be committed," she said, "then wasn't committed." She even praised him in multiple interviews late last year for being respectful and understanding of her need to be with her estranged husband Lamar Odom as he recovered from a cocaine overdose in October.
She said she offered James "everything on a platter."
"I'm not telling you that I'm not going to hang out with you. I just said hey, listen, this is unfair," she said of James' alleged persistence to be with her, which eventually won her over.
"I was like great, if this guy is in it for the long haul, lets do it," she said, adding that she "found out he wasn't, and I got the receipts to prove it."
