Students yesterday locked down the Capital city of Ondo state, Akure yesterday over unpaid bursary by the State Government. It was actually a peaceful contest, but for the timely intervention of security agents, it would have escalated into something bloody as the students were all prepared to wreak havoc if incited.
We call on the appropriate bodies to look into this situation and give the students what they actually seek.
