FC of England striker, Odion Ighalo has been named the English Premier
League player of the month for December.
Ighalo who is the EPL's second highest goal scorer, scored an impressive five goals in four matches in December: He
netted a crucial goal against Norwich, scored the winning goal against
Sunderland, and scored two and one goals respestively against Premership giants
Liverpool and Tottenham.
Ighalo beat Arsenal’s playmaker
Mesut Ozil, Stoke’s Marko Arnautovic, Leicester’s Riyad Mahrez, Everton’s
Romelu Lukaku and Tottenham’s Dele Alli to the prize.
His manager, Quique Flores was
also awarded the manager of the month for December.
