Babatunde Fashola may just have been announced as the minister of power, works and Housing yesterday, but the action former governor, who is known for his always working stance, has officially started work today.

Immediately after the inauguration, Fashola went to the Federal Ministry of Works Headquarter in Abuja where he spoke to the staff about working together.

 

In his speech, the newly appointed Minister of Power, Works & Housing said, “We are here to work with you, in solving problems on ground as quickly as possible, we want to know if some of those problems are man-made or systemic. We want information on what remained to be done, and what are the future plans, we want to continue from there. We need to do more so as to regain lost time”.
