The stage is now set to unveil Africa’s 1st Karaoke Sensation! The long
awaited Tecno Own The Stage Karaoke contest will grace your TV screens on the Africa
Magic channel starting November 15!
After
weeks of carefully listening to sound tracks uploaded to the Tecno Stage site by
thousands of karaoke hopefuls and conducting auditions in Kenya, Tanzania and
Nigeria, the top 15 contestants have finally emerged.
Over the next 3 months,
these contestants will compete via a number of themed challenges, with one
person ultimately emerging as Africa’s first karaoke champion.
The panel of judges include
Yemi Alade from Nigeria, Bien (Sauti Sol) from Kenya and M.I Abaga from
Nigeria, while the show hosts include Miss Vimbai from Zimbabwe and
UtiNwachukwu from Nigeria.
