Aliko Dangote is not only the richest man in Africa, he’s also the 71^st most powerful man in the world! This is according to the world’s leading power and politics magazine, Forbes magazine.

Forbes released its 2015 edition of the world’s 100 most powerful personalities this month and the Nigerian billionaire is one of only two black men that made the list. The other black person is American president Barack Obama who is 3^rd on the list.

Russian President, Vladimir Putin and German Chancellor, Angela Merkel make up the first and second most powerful people respectively. This makes Merkel the most powerful woman in the world.
