The Nigerian Army has arrested three senior members of Boko Haram in Yobe State, reports say.
This was disclosed on Thursday, November 19, 2015, by the Commander of the 27 Task Force Brigade, Colonel Dahiru Bako while speaking to journalists in Damaturu, Daily Trusts reports.
“The insurgents are highly on the run and now filtering into the communities, we therefore appeal to the communities to be vigilant, fish them out and report suspicious persons and movements in their midst to security agencies,” he added.
The Army also recently arrested one terrorist in Zaria, Kaduna State while he was pretending to be a member of a local first aid group.
A number of Boko Haram members have been apprehended since the military released names and photos of a 100 terrorists which it had declared wanted.
