The bodies of at least 17 illegal African migrants washed ashore in Zliten, 150km east of Tripoli, on Friday night, October 23. This is so saddening at a time when African leaders should have awoken and risen up to the situation. Lack of infrastructures and economic development is solely responsible for this and the Continent seems to be doing nothing about this and even less concerned about the rate at which African migrants are dying across the seas.
