Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has vented
her vexation at the death of Oluchi Anekwe.
We reported yesterday that Oluchi,
a 300 Level student of Accounting, was
electrocuted within the school premises. She was walking to her room in
Sodeinde Hall when a high tension cable fell ad electrocuted her.
In addition to that, a student
at the university, who pleaded anonymity
informed us that when Oluchi was rushed to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital
(LUTH), the medical personnel refused to treat her on
the grounds that she didn't have the school ID.
Omotola tweeted on the sad occurrence that happened on
September 9 and went on to lambast the Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode,
for not responding to the tragic incident. The President wasn’t spared too.
