The Federal Government has
sent a technical team to examine the location
where Oluchi Anekwe , a 300 level Accounting student of UNILAG, was
electrocuted.
Yesterday, we reported that
actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, slammed the Lagos State Government and the
Federal Government for keeping mum on the situation on ground. This might have
been in reaction to her tweets.

The technical team, led by the
Managing Director of the Nigeria Electricity Management Services Limited,
Engineer Peter Ewesor, will examinewhat actually went wrong. In addition to
that, they will look into which group or individuals were culpable after which
suitable sanction will be served to them.
The team would also come up with
a report that would also contain measures to prevent future similar occurrence.
Everyone knows that a high
tension wire snapped and fell on her. it was also stated that the pole from which
the wire fell was faulty. In other words, is this “technical investigation”
necessary?
